Make Them Want to Open Your Envelopes
It’s more than just designing your envelope printingto make your readers want to get hold of them. It is also about getting them to want to open your print envelopes. The main goal is to have your readers want to open your envelope so they could see what’s inside.
It takes too much of your resources for your envelope printing to have it go down the drain that easily. If your readers don’t open your print envelopes then you’re just wasting not only your own time and effort but your readers’ as well.
Even before your readers can read your message in your print ad, be it flyers or brochures, they have to be impressed by the envelope. To help you get a positive impression from your envelope printing, you need to do the following:
1- Don’t give them junk mail.
This is the first thing you have to understand. If you don’t want your ads to end up as junk, then don’t give your target clients junk. It’s that simple. So don’t provide print envelopes that look like it should be dumped right away. Not only does it not give you the chance to get read, but it reflects poorly on how you run your business.
2- Avoid adding mailing labels that make your envelopes look like junk.
Mailing labels need to be there, that’s a sure thing. But you also should not make it look like you let your pet do the designing. Your mailing labels should also be given the time and effort to look good. If you can’t create a well designed mailing label then refrain from using one in your print envelopes.
3- Don’t use rubber stamps to print your return address.
Oh please. Don’t add injury to insult by having your return address rubber stamped. An envelope that looks like junk; a return address that looks like an afterthought; what more do you expect from your readers? It would really take a miracle for your ad to be read if you give this type of marketing campaign to your target clients.
4- Use color envelopes.
Color always attracts the eyes of anyone. Instead of the usual white envelopes, try dressing it up and use color paper stock. Your target readers would definitely feel very special because they know that you spent so much to make them feel good. They would know how you treat your clients- with TLC.
5- Hire a professional envelope printing company that knows their stuff.
And if you really don’t know where to start, you can always hire a service provider that knows how to get the groove into your print job. And make sure that you don’t forget to give your return address to your printer, so you wouldn’t have to rubber stamp it to your envelopes.
